Joint Laboratory for Astrophysics

The joint lab was established in May 2013 to promote collaborations in research and education for graduate students between the two institutes. The lab focuses on research in Antarctic Astronomy and Galaxy & Cosmology. Both parties support mutual visiting, lecturing, and academic collaborations between members of the two institutes. To enhance graduate education, TJNU encourages undergraduate students to apply for NAOC's graduate admission and hires NAOC's faculty members in the collaborating research areas as adjunct professors, NAOC recognizes qualified faculty member of TJNU as PhD advisor at NAOC.

The joint lab was established in March 2007 to promote collaborations in research and education for graduate students between the two institutes. All members working in the fields of both institutes are members of the joint lab. The current directors of the lab are Zhaohui Shang (TJNU) and Yu Gao (PMO).
